The price matrix allows you to display prices and availability in a clear and structured way within our booking system. Instead of a traditional calendar view, guests are presented with a matrix that makes it easy to compare different stay options. This helps guests find a suitable period more quickly and can contribute to increased bookings.
How the price matrix works
In the search engine of our booking system, guests see an overview that combines arrival dates and lengths of stay. For each available combination, the total price is displayed immediately. This means guests do not need to select multiple dates before they can compare prices.
When a selected period is unavailable, our booking system automatically displays alternative options. As a result, the price matrix works seamlessly with the alternative suggestions feature in the booking system and helps guests find an available stay period more quickly.
Setting Up the Price Matrix for a Specific Accommodation
It is possible to activate the price matrix in our booking system for a specific accommodation. Follow these steps:
Click Settings next to the accommodation you want to edit.
Open the Others tab.
Under Availability display, select Price matrix.
Click Save changes.
The price matrix will now be displayed in the search engine for the selected accommodation.
Note: For newly created accommodations, the price matrix is enabled by default as the availability display in the search engine.
Setting Up the Price Matrix for Multiple Accommodations
Would you like to enable the price matrix for multiple accommodations at once? Follow these steps:
Select the accommodations for which you want to enable the price matrix by checking the box in front of the accommodation title.
Click the dropdown menu next to the Bulk view button.
Select Edit selected accommodations.
Check Availability display and choose Price matrix.
Click Save changes.
The price matrix will be displayed in the search engine for all selected accommodations.
