The information you enter for an accommodation is displayed in the Search & Book and helps guests choose the right accommodation. This article explains how to complete each section for the best results.
Accommodation settings
Go to Settings > Accommodation settings > Accommodations and click Edit content next to the accommodation you want to edit.
Here you can manage all the information displayed to guests in the Search & Book, including the title, descriptions, images, and facilities. Below you'll find an explanation of each tab and where the information is displayed.
General
Accommodation title (H1)
Choose a clear and attractive title. We recommend including the accommodation type, the number of guests, and a distinctive feature.
Meta title
The meta title is used by search engines and usually appears as the page title in search results. Keep it between 50 and 60 characters and include the most important keywords, such as the accommodation type, the number of guests, and the location.
Subtitle (H2)
The subtitle is displayed in the accommodation overview within the Search & Book. Use it to capture the guest's attention and highlight the accommodation.
URL (slug)
The slug is the last part of the accommodation URL. It is generated automatically but can be edited if required.
Short description
The short description is displayed in the accommodation overview. Keep it between 10 and 25 words and focus on the accommodation's main selling points.
Long description
Use the long description to provide detailed information about the accommodation. Make the text easy to read by using short paragraphs, headings, and bullet points.
You can use the # symbol to create headings in the description.

Pictures
High-quality images have a significant impact on a guest's booking decision. We recommend that you:
Use a sharp, high-quality image as the first photo.
Upload images with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Use descriptive filenames with relevant keywords, for example:
chalet-4-person-domburg.webp.
You can upload images from this tab and drag them into the preferred order. The first image will be displayed in the Search & Book.
Facilities
Use this tab to add the facilities available for the accommodation.
Only add the most important facilities that help distinguish the accommodation. Adding too many facilities can make the overview cluttered. Guests can also use these facilities as filters in the Search & Book.
Other
This tab allows you to add additional content, such as a video that will be displayed on the accommodation detail page.
You can also enable the accommodation's energy label so it is displayed in the Search & Book.
Sort accommodation order
You can define a custom order for your accommodations in different parts of the system. This allows you to control how accommodations are displayed in the Search & Book.
