How to show a starting price in the booking engine

Learn how to show a starting price for each accommodation in the booking flow and choose whether mandatory options and surcharges are included.

The ‘Starting price’ feature allows you to display the lowest available price for each

accommodation in the booking flow. This gives guests a clear indication of the minimum booking price and helps them compare accommodations more easily.

What is the starting price?

The starting price is the lowest price for which an accommodation can currently be booked. Our booking system automatically calculates this price based on the next available booking period. This means the displayed starting price automatically changes when availability or rates change.

You can choose which costs are included in the starting price:

  • Excluding mandatory options and surcharges: only the base rental price is used to calculate the starting price.

  • Including mandatory options and surcharges: mandatory costs, such as cleaning fees or tourist tax, are included in the starting price.
