Guest information for channel manager reservations

Learn which guest details are imported from connected sales channels and how you can obtain missing email addresses.

Reservations received through a connected sales channel do not always include all guest information. In particular, reservations from Airbnb and Booking.com often do not include the guest's email address.

This is because these sales channels do not always share the guest's email address. Instead, the email address may be hidden or not provided at all. As a result, reservations in our booking system may display either no email address or a forwarding email address.

Which guest details are imported?

The guest information that is imported depends on the connected sales channel. For Booking.com and Airbnb, the following information is imported automatically:

  • First and last name of the main guest

  • Country

  • Phone number (if provided on the sales channel)

  • Number of guests

  • Sales channel reservation number

Receiving missing email addresses

Although sales channels such as Airbnb and Booking.com do not usually provide the guest's email address, it is often possible to obtain it afterwards.

By configuring an automated message within the relevant sales channel, you can ask guests to share their email address. Once the guest responds, you can add the email address to the reservation in our booking system.

This allows you to:

  • Send automated emails from our booking system.

  • Share arrival information.

  • Send booking confirmations and other guest communications directly from our booking system.
