It is possible that the age groups in a reservation imported from a connected booking channel do not match the ages shown in the channel's dashboard. This happens because the information received by our booking system depends on the data that the booking channel makes available.
Why do the age groups differ?
Although you can often view detailed reservation information in the dashboard of a booking channel, this does not mean that all of this information is shared through the channel connection.
Our booking system imports age groups as accurately as possible based on the information provided by the booking channel. Support for age groups varies by channel. If the channel provides limited or incomplete information, the party composition may not be imported correctly.
Correcting the age groups
If the age groups have not been imported correctly, you can manually adjust the party composition on a reservation.
Open the desired reservation.
Click Edit next to Party.
Adjust the party to the correct age groups.
Save your changes.
The accuracy of imported age groups depends entirely on the information provided by the connected channel. Our booking system cannot import age information that is not supplied by the channel.
