When a guest starts a SEPA bank transfer through Mollie, a transaction is created in our booking system with the status Open.
Transaction with the open status
This status means that the payment request has been created, but the guest has not yet completed the bank transfer. Since the guest decides when to make the transfer, this status may remain visible for some time.
You do not need to take any action. The guest must complete the payment before the expiry date provided by Mollie. This date may differ from the payment due date of the booking.
Expired payment
If the expiry date has passed and the payment has not been received, the payment request will expire. The transaction may then appear in our booking system with the status Expired.
The guest can then open the payment page in the guest dashboard to request new payment details and start a new payment request.
