Sometimes you may want to prevent a guest from making another reservation. By adding a guest to the blocked guests list, any new online reservation made using the same email address will be automatically rejected.
Add an unwanted guest
Go to Settings > Guests > Unwelcome guests.
Click New unwanted guest.
Enter the guest's name and email address.
Add a reason so your colleagues can see why the guest has been added to the list.
Click Save changes.
Automatically reject reservations
When a guest on the blocked guests list attempts to make a new reservation using the same email address, the reservation is automatically rejected.
The guest immediately receives the Reservation declined email, so no manual action is required.
You will also receive a notification when this email address is entered while creating a reservation from the dashboard. This immediately informs the employee that the guest is on the blocked guests list.
Edit the reservation declined email
You can customize the message guests receive when their reservation is rejected.
Important: This email is not only sent when a guest is on the blocked guests list. It is also sent when you manually reject a reservation from the reservation card.
To edit the email:
Optionally select the desired accommodation at the top of the page.
Click the language next to Reservation declined email that you want to edit.
Modify the email content as required.
Click Save changes.
