Managing cash register products

Learn how to manage products, categories, and subcategories within the POS module of our booking system.

The POS module allows you to manage and sell products. You can add products, organize them into categories, and determine the order in which they are displayed.

Managing products

Go to POS > Receipts > Products > Products. Click the pencil icon to edit an existing product.

To create a new product:

  1. Click New product in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter the product name and description.

  3. Enter a unit, indicating how the product is sold, for example per item, kilogram, or litre.

  4. Enter the price and select a category.

  5. Optionally assign a VAT profile and general ledger account in the Administrative tab.

  6. Save the product.

You can change the display order of products by dragging them to the desired position within the overview.

Categories and subcategories

Create categories to organise your products. Each category can contain one level of subcategories for further product grouping.

Categories are available directly within the POS module. Click a category to display only products from that category and click it again to remove the filter.

When you click a subcategory, you are taken directly to the corresponding product group within the POS.
