Configure the ST&D (MOOV) integration

Configure the ST&D (MOOV) integration for automatic license plate recognition and set up vehicle access, accommodations, and access permissions.

The ST&D (MOOV) integration automatically uses license plates from bookings to manage vehicle access to the site. Guests can provide their license plate in advance, allowing the barrier to open automatically upon arrival based on the registered license plate.

In our booking system, you can determine when vehicles are allowed to enter, which accommodations can send license plates to ST&D, and how many vehicles can access the site at the same time.

Configure the ST&D (MOOV) integration

Step 1: Create the configuration

Go to Settings > Hardware > ST&D configurations and click New configuration in the top-right corner.

In the General tab, enter the details provided by ST&D:

  1. Endpoint

  2. Username

  3. Password

  4. MOOV version: V3

  5. Active: Yes

Save the configuration.

Step 2: Set the access permissions

Click Access next to the new configuration and set the required access permissions. We recommend the following default settings:

  • Number of days after validity expires before the license plate is removed from ST&D: 0

  • Guest gets 240 access to the site minutes earlier: 60

  • Vehicles can drive out until the end of the day: Yes

  • Vehicles cannot enter until they are checked in: Yes

Step 3: Create specifications for accommodations

Under Specifications, create a new specification by clicking Create specification. This determines which accommodations are allowed to send license plates to ST&D.

Accommodations that are not included in a specification will not be synchronized with ST&D. This can be useful, for example, for tent pitches where vehicles are not allowed to enter the site.

For each specification, you can also set the maximum number of vehicles that can access the site at the same time. If you enter 0, vehicles linked to these accommodations will not be granted access. If you enter 2, for example, a maximum of two vehicles can access the site at the same time. Guests can still register more than two license plates.

Note: the maximum number of vehicles feature only works if it is also configured correctly in ST&D.

Finally, save your changes.

Step 4: Select the Identifier Type and Template

  1. Click Edit next to the configuration.

  2. In the Identifier Types tab, select the required type for guests accessing the site.

  3. Under Templates, select the required template.

  4. Save the settings. The ST&D (MOOV) integration is now ready to synchronize.
