The integration between Koole Controls and our booking system automates vehicle access to your site. Booking details and license plates are sent to Koole Controls, allowing guests with a valid booking to access the site automatically.
Note: the Koole Controls module is not activated by default. Contact [email protected] if you would like to use this integration.
Set up Koole Controls
The Koole Controls integration is set up together with support. The required objects and locations are created in Koole Controls and linked to the corresponding locations in our booking system.
If you use KC Smart Entry for barrier access, an object must be created in Koole Controls for every location that requires access. This also applies to individual camping pitches.
Automatic barrier access for guests
Once the integration is active, booking details are automatically sent to the access control system. This includes the arrival and departure dates, location, and registered license plates.
Based on this information, the barrier can open automatically for vehicles with a valid license plate and access permission. You can find the integration settings via Settings > Hardware > KC Smart Home.
Link locations for access control
For access control to work correctly, each booking must be linked to the correct location in Koole Controls. The Koole Controls locations are therefore linked to the corresponding locations in our booking system.
This is a one-time configuration. You only need to update these links when your locations change.
Once the barrier integration is active, you can view registered vehicle entries and exits by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner of our booking system and selecting Entrances and exits.
Manually grant access to non-guests
You can also manually add a license plate for people who do not have a booking but still need access to the site. This could include employees, suppliers, day visitors, or emergency services.
When adding a license plate, you can optionally set a start and end date. The vehicle will then only be granted access during the specified period.
You can manage these license plates via Vehicle registration plates. You can find this overview by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
Maximum number of vehicles per booking
In our booking system, you can specify how many vehicles per booking are allowed on the site at the same time. For example, if the maximum is set to one vehicle and a guest arrives with multiple cars, an additional vehicle will be denied access if another vehicle linked to the same booking is already on the site.
