Editing non-editable blocks or reservations

Learn how to open, edit, or remove a block or reservation that is no longer clickable in the planning board.

Sometimes a block or reservation can no longer be clicked in the planning board. This usually happens when the unit on which the block or reservation was originally created has later been linked to a different accommodation.

As a result, the direct connection to the original accommodation is no longer available. The block or reservation can therefore no longer be opened, edited, or removed.

Fortunately, this can be resolved easily by temporarily linking the unit back to the original accommodation.

Steps to edit non-editable blocks or reservations

Follow the steps below to regain access to the block or reservation.

Step 1: Temporarily link the unit back to the original accommodation

  1. Klik Settings for the relevant unit.

  2. Open the Accommodations tab.

  3. Select the original accommodation to temporarily link the unit back to it. Make sure that both the old and the new accommodations are linked to this unit.

The block or reservation will now become accessible again.

Step 2: Edit or remove the block

Once the unit has been linked back:

  1. Go to Planning in the dashboard.

  2. Click the block or reservation.

  3. Edit the details or remove the block.

If it concerns a reservation, you can update the accommodation within the reservation to reflect the current situation and save the change. This will make the reservation accessible again in the future.

Step 3: Link the unit to the correct accommodation

Once everything has been updated as needed, follow the steps from Step 1 again and link the unit back to the correct accommodation.
