For accommodations with multiple units, you can use the parking row in the planning board. The parking row allows you to temporarily disconnect a reservation from a specific unit, giving you more flexibility when adjusting your planning.
How does the parking row work?
You can easily place a reservation on the parking row by dragging it from the planning board to the parking row.
When a reservation is placed on the parking row, it is no longer linked to a unit. The reservation still exists, but it is temporarily placed outside the regular planning. This allows you to move reservations around without immediately assigning them to a specific unit.
Actions required
When a reservation is placed on the parking row, a unit may still appear as available even though the reservation is intended to be assigned to that unit later.
As soon as one or more reservations are placed on the parking row, the Actions required tab will automatically appear in the cockpit.
This notification indicates that there are reservations without an assigned unit. This is an important warning, as reservations on the parking row can lead to incorrect availability and therefore increase the risk of overbookings.
For this reason, regularly check the Actions required tab and make sure that parked reservations are assigned to a unit again as soon as possible.
