Our reservation system offers several ways to automatically check reservations in and out. This helps to keep your nightregister up to date and reduces unnecessary manual actions.
Important: only confirmed reservations are processed automatically. Optional and pending reservations are not automatically checked in or checked out.
Set up automatic check-in and check-out
To enable automatic check-in and check-out, go to:
Open the Others tab.
Under the 'Check in and out' section, you will find the available options.
Available automatic check-in and check-out options
Below is an overview of all available functions within our reservation system.
1. Automatically check in or out reservations after the departure day
With this setting, reservations are automatically processed once the planned departure date has passed. This only applies to reservations that were not manually checked in or checked out during the day.
Suitable if:
You do not manually check out every guest.
You want your night register to update automatically after departure.
2. Automatically check in reservations based on first entry
Available when connected to KC Smart Home or CAT.
When a guest enters the park or property for the first time, the reservation is automatically checked in through the access control integration. This links the check-in directly to the guest's actual arrival.
3. Automatically check reservations in and out based on scheduled check-in/check-out
With this setting, our reservation system can automatically perform one of the following actions on the scheduled reservation dates:
Check in only.
Check out only.
Perform both actions automatically.
You can select the preferred option yourself using the dropdown menu.
4. Automatic check-in only if location is available
Available when connected to Keyplan.
With this setting, a guest is only automatically checked in once the assigned accommodation has been marked as available. This prevents guests from being checked in while the accommodation is not ready yet in Keyplan.
It also helps prevent guests from gaining access to the accommodation too early. This option works as an addition to the other automatic check-in settings.
