Creating a One-Time Task

Learn how to easily create a one-time task in the task management environment of our booking system.

A one-time task allows you to schedule work that only needs to be completed once at a specific date and time. Examples include maintenance work for an accommodation or a specific assignment for a staff member.

Before assigning tasks, make sure that companies, groups, and employees have been set up correctly in the system. This helps create a clear task structure and provides better oversight within your organization. For more information, see the article Creating Companies, Groups, and Employees.

Follow the steps below to create a one-time task:

  1. Navigate to Tasks > Tasks > Tasks to open the overview of all active tasks.

  2. Click New task in the top-right corner.

  3. Enter the task details by giving the task a clear and descriptive name and selecting the location where the task needs to be performed.

  4. Assign the task to either a task group or a specific employee.

  5. Schedule the task by entering a due date and time, and set the appropriate priority level.

    If the task is related to a reservation or stay, you can enable the option Include the next arrival in the task.

  6. Add an additional description and any attachments if needed.

  7. Click Save changes to create the task
