(New pricing structure) Rate overview

Discover how the rate overview works in our booking system. View, manage, and edit rates for each accommodation, rate group, and rate profile from one central overview.

The rate overview is the central place to view, manage, and edit your rates. The interface is designed to work similarly to well-known channel managers and booking channels, giving you a clear overview of your accommodations, rates, and occupancy in one place.

You can access the overview via Settings > Prices > Rate overview.

Rate overview layout

A separate table is displayed for each accommodation.

Each table consists of rows and columns:

  • The accommodation name is displayed above the table.

  • The first row shows the occupancy. This allows you to quickly identify dates with remaining availability or where rate adjustments may be appropriate.

  • The linked rate groups are displayed below the occupancy row.

  • Starting from the second column, each column represents a separate date.

By default, the overview displays two months at a time, from the first day of the first month through the last day of the second month.

Colours and indicators

The rate overview uses different colours and formatting to help you quickly identify the status of each day.

  • Grey: saturday and Sunday.

  • Light blue: the current day.

  • Strikethrough: the value cannot be edited, for example because it is derived from another rate.

This makes it easy to see which dates can be edited.

Navigating the overview

At the bottom of the page, you'll find the control bar. From here, you can:

  • Filter the overview by category or accommodation.

  • Navigate to another month.

  • Open version history.

In the top-left corner, you'll find the action button. This opens a menu that allows you to:

  • Edit rates in bulk.

  • Duplicate rates in bulk.

Version history, bulk editing, and bulk duplication are explained in separate knowledge base articles.

Editing rates

Click the name of a rate group for an accommodation to display its associated rate profiles.

Additional rows will appear beneath the rate group, one for each configured rate profile, such as Night, Weekend, Midweek, and Week. You can enter or edit rates in the cells for each rate profile.

The concept is simple:

  • Each cell represents one combination of accommodation + arrival date + rate profile.

  • The amount entered in the cell is the rate for arrivals on that specific date.

Example

For the accommodation Zandsteeg 58, the following rate profiles have been configured: Night, weekend, midweek and week.

The following rates have been entered for January: Night: €250, Weekend (Friday): €1.250, Midweek (Monday): €1.200, Week (Monday & Friday): €1.400.

The system automatically determines which rates apply based on the guest's arrival day.

If a guest books 7 nights and arrives on Monday, the weekly rate of €1,400 is applied.

If the same guest arrives on Tuesday, the system automatically combines multiple rate profiles:

  • Night rates from Tuesday to Friday.

  • The weekend rate from Friday to Monday.

  • The night rate from Monday to Tuesday.

This ensures the correct combination of rates is always applied for each arrival date and length of stay.
