Merge duplicate guests

Learn how to use the duplicate guest merge feature in our booking system to keep your guest database clean and up to date.

Within our booking system, it is possible to automatically merge duplicate guest profiles. This helps keep your guest database clean and up to date.

How to find the merge feature

  1. Go to Guests.

  2. At the top of the screen, click Merge duplicate guests.

Merge configuration options

Duplicate guests can be identified based on the following criteria:

  • Guests with the same email address

  • Guests with the same full name and postal code

  • Guests with the same address, postal code, and city

Merging duplicate guests

  1. Select the configuration you want to use.

  2. The system will search for duplicate guest profiles based on your selection.

  3. Choose which duplicate profile you want to keep as the primary guest profile.

  4. Select any additional information from the other duplicate profiles that you want to add to the primary profile.

  5. Click Merge.

If additional duplicate profiles are found, you will automatically be taken to the next set of duplicates.
