The Balance provides insight into the financial position of your organization within a selected period. The report displays all balance sheet accounts, divided into debit and credit, allowing you to easily review assets, liabilities, and equity.
You can find this report via Administration > Accountancy > Balance.
Balance
Before generating the report, you can configure several filters:
Year
Period: year or quarter
Comparison period: year, quarter, or month
Click View results to generate the report.
The balance sheet then displays the balance per ledger account within the selected period. Balance sheet accounts are shown under the Debit and Credit columns. Depending on the selected comparison period, the results are grouped by year, quarter, or month.
At the bottom of the report, the balance sheet total is displayed, allowing you to immediately verify that the balance sheet is balanced.
Exporting
Would you like to use the report outside the system? You can export the balance sheet to a PDF file or an Excel file.
This allows you to further analyze the data, share it with your accountant, or use it for internal reporting.
