By default, guests can make a reservation through Booking.com up to and including the day of arrival. In some situations, this may not be desirable, for example when additional time is needed for cleaning.
The minimum advance booking setting allows you to define, for each accommodation and rate, the minimum and maximum amount of time between making a reservation and the arrival date.
Important: This setting is currently only supported for Booking.com.
Set the minimum advance booking period
Navigate to Settings > Channels > Channel Manager.
Click Accommodations next to Booking.com.
Click Locations next to the desired accommodation.
Click Edit next to the desired location.
If you are using a virtual room, the rate is usually configured on the virtual room.
Open the Rates and restrictions tab.
Go to the Book in advance section.
Configure the desired minimum and/or maximum advance booking period for each rate.
Click the Save icon next to the corresponding row.
Click Save changes at the top of the page.
Perform a full synchronization
The updated setting will only be sent to Booking.com after a full synchronization has been performed.
Navigate to Settings > Channels > Channel Manager.
Click Accommodations next to Booking.com.
Click Edit next to the desired accommodation.
On the General tab, go to the Full sync section.
Click Execute full synchronization.
This will resend all rates and restrictions, including the minimum advance booking setting, to Booking.com.
