Email tags automatically insert information into an email, such as the guest’s name, reservation number, or arrival date. This means you do not need to enter this information manually.

You can recognize an email tag by the format %...% or {{ ... }}.

In the subject line of the email, use %tag%.
In the body of the email, use {{ tag }}.

Important

Always use email tags exactly as they appear in our booking system.

Never change the name of an email tag.
Never translate an email tag when translating an email message into another language.
Never remove parts of an existing email tag.

When an email tag is changed or translated, our booking system can no longer replace it with the correct information. The tag may then appear as regular text in the email.

Not every email message supports the same email tags. Using a tag that is not supported by a particular email type may prevent the email from being sent.

Always check this article to confirm which email tags are available for the email message you are editing. To make the overview easier to use, the existing email messages are divided into several categories.

Note: The following tags are supported in all email messages and are therefore not included in the tables below:
