Email tags allow you to automatically insert information into emails sent through our booking system. For example, you can include the guest's name, booking number, or arrival and departure dates.
When an email is sent, our booking system automatically replaces the email tags with the corresponding information. This makes it easy to personalize your emails without having to enter the details manually.
How to add email tags to an email
You can add email tags to both the subject line and the body of an email.
Click on the desired language next to the email message you want to edit.
Place your cursor in the subject line or email body where you want to insert an email tag.
Click the {...} button in the top-right corner of the corresponding text field.
A list of available email tags will appear. You can also use the search bar to find a specific tag.
Click the email tag you want to insert.
Click Save changes to save your changes.
The inserted email tag will appear as a blue label in the text.
Which email tags are available?
Most email tags have descriptive names that clearly indicate which information they will display.
Not all email tags are available for every email message. The tags you can use depend on the type of email. When you click {...} or type {{, you will only see the email tags that are allowed for that specific message.
Fewer email tags are available in the subject line than in the email body.
What do the email tag colors mean?
Email tags can appear in different colors. Each color indicates how the tag is used:
Blue email tags are automatically replaced with the corresponding information.
Purple email tags are conditions that determine whether a section of text is displayed. The text is only shown when the corresponding information has been entered.
Red email tags are unknown or not allowed for the selected email message. These may appear in older email templates.
A red email tag may prevent the email from being sent. Make sure to remove it from the message.
Check the subject line and email body for any red email tags and remove them. If needed, click {...} to insert a different, valid email tag.
