A Glory cash machine accepts cash and automatically returns change. In our booking system, this type of device is called a cash recycler. The employee starts the payment in the dashboard or at the point of sale, after which the guest inserts the cash into the machine. The transaction is then processed automatically.
Please note: the Glory cash machine cannot be used for payments at a self-service kiosk.
Create a Glory configuration
Before you can add a Glory device, you first need to create the general configuration.
Go to Settings > Hardware > Glory.
Click New configuration.
Open the General tab.
Enter the following details:
Description
Host
API port
WebSocket port
TLS
Save the configuration.
The Glory cash machine must be accessible via the network. The device therefore needs a fixed address within the network.
Add a Glory device
After creating the general configuration, you can add the cash machines.
Open the Devices tab.
Add the Glory cash recycler.
Enter the following details for each device:
Name
Glory reference
Payment method
Cash drawer
Save the device.
Each Glory cash recycler must be linked to its own payment method. A payment method can only be linked to one Glory device. For example, if you have two Glory cash machines, you also need two separate payment methods.
Troubleshoot a Glory payment
If the booking system cannot connect to the Glory cash machine or a payment does not start, first check whether the machine is accessible via the network.
