Accommodation labels help you highlight specific accommodations in the Search & Book overview. For example, you can add a label to highlight a new accommodation or a specific feature.
You can create and translate your own labels and choose which accommodations they are displayed on.
Create a new accommodation label
Click New label in the top-right corner.
Enter the name of the label. A label can contain up to 20 characters.
Select the accommodations where you want to display the label.
Save the label.
Once you have created the label, you can add translations via Translations in the top-right corner.
The label will be displayed on the selected accommodations in the booking engine.
You can edit an existing label at any time to add or remove accommodations.
Manage labels from an accommodation
You can also add or remove existing labels directly from the accommodation settings.
Click Settings next to the accommodation you want to edit.
Scroll down to Labels.
Select up to two existing labels that you want to display for the accommodation.
Save your changes.
From the accommodation settings, you can only select existing labels. New labels must be created using the accommodation labels feature.
How are accommodation labels displayed?
A maximum of 2 labels can be displayed per accommodation. Labels are shown without an icon and automatically use the brand colour configured for the booking engine.
Tip: Use accommodation labels selectively and only when they add value. If many accommodations have multiple labels, the labels will stand out less and become less effective at highlighting specific accommodations.
What happens to the previous ‘New’ setting?
Previously, you could use the 'New' checkbox in the accommodation settings to mark an accommodation as new in Search & Book.
Existing settings are automatically converted into an accommodation label called ‘New’. The old checkbox will no longer be available. From now on, you can manage the ‘New’ label via Accommodation labels.
