For each accommodation, you can define a maximum number of guests. In some cases, you may want a specific age group, such as infants, to be excluded from this occupancy limit.
Example
An accommodation has a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. In addition, up to 2 infants are allowed.
To achieve this, the Infants age group must be excluded from the maximum number of guests. This allows the accommodation to be booked for 4 adults and/or children, plus 2 infants.
Exclude an age group from the maximum number of guests
Follow these steps:
Click Settings next to the accommodation.
On the General tab, set the maximum number of guests without including the age group you want to exclude.
Example: set the maximum to 4 if the accommodation allows 4 adults or children, plus 2 infants.Click Edit for the relevant age group and open the Conditions tab.
Enable Exclude from maximum number of guests.
Enter the minimum and maximum number of additional guests.
Your accommodation can now be booked for up to 4 adults/children and 2 infants, without the infants counting towards the maximum occupancy of 4 guests. This helps prevent unwanted reservations while keeping your accommodation settings accurate.
Important
Age groups are often linked to multiple accommodations. If you only want to use this setting for a single accommodation, create a separate age group and assign it only to that accommodation.
