Every location in our booking system is assigned a location type. The available location types depend on your organization's licensing model.
During the setup of your account, the appropriate location types are added automatically. This ensures you can always select the correct type when creating a new location.
In this article, you'll learn how license calculation works, when a location counts toward your license, and how to manage your locations.
How does license calculation work?
A location counts toward your license as soon as it is available for use. A location is considered available when:
The location is active;
and at least one active accommodation is linked to the location.
You can check the status of your locations by navigating to: Settings > Account > General > License tab.
Here you can see how your locations are categorized and which locations are active and available for use.
Deactivate a location
If you no longer use a location, you can deactivate it.
A deactivated location no longer counts toward your license and can no longer be used for new reservations.
To deactivate a location:
Click Edit next to the location.
Scroll down and clear the 'Active' checkbox.
Click Save changes.
Assign a location type to a new location
When creating a new location, you must assign the correct location type.
To do this:
Click New location.
Select the appropriate Location type.
Save the location.
Change the location type of an existing location
At this time, it is not possible to change the location type of an existing location yourself.
If a location has been assigned the wrong location type, please contact us at [email protected]. Our support team can update the location type for you.
