Your account contains important information. That's why we recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). It adds an extra layer of security in addition to your password.
By default, you'll receive a verification code by email when signing in. For even better security, we recommend using an authenticator app instead.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up two-factor authentication and how to create a strong password.
Set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Email verification
Email verification is enabled by default for all users. After entering your username and password, you'll receive a verification code by email to complete the sign-in process.
Set up an authenticator app
Using an authenticator app provides a higher level of security than email verification.
Follow these steps to set it up:
In our booking system, click your profile picture or company logo in the top-right corner.
Click Two-Factor Authentication. A setup window will open.
Select Set up authenticator app.
Open an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy.
Scan the displayed QR code.
Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app to complete the setup.
Once these steps are completed, the authenticator app is linked to your account.
The next time you sign in, you'll enter your password as usual, followed by the verification code generated by your authenticator app.
Tips for creating a strong password
A strong password helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
Follow these best practices:
Use at least 14 characters.
Combine uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Avoid using personal information such as your name or date of birth.
Use a unique password for every account.
Store your passwords securely in a password manager.
It's also a good idea to change your password periodically, especially if you suspect it has been compromised or if multiple people have had access to your account.
