Setting up location features

Learn how to create and assign location features to one or more locations in our booking system.

Location features allow you to assign specific properties to locations. This makes it easy to filter locations on the planning board and in the booking flow.

Creating a location feature

  1. Click New feature in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter the required information and choose where the feature should be visible, for example only on the planning board or also online in the booking flow.

  3. Click Save changes.

If needed, add translations by clicking Edit for the relevant location and selecting Translations in the top-left corner.

Assigning location features to locations

To assign location features to locations, go to Settings > Accommodation settings > Locations.

Editing a single location

For the desired location, click Settings and open the Features tab to add or remove location features.

Editing multiple locations at once

  1. Select the desired locations.

  2. Click Edit selected locations.

  3. Choose 'Characteristics'.

  4. Add the desired location features.

  5. Click Save changes.

To remove location features, choose 'Unlink attributes from selected locations'.

Linking surcharges to location features

You can automatically add a surcharge whenever a location with a specific feature is booked.

  1. Click New option/surcharge.

  2. Enter the description and price, and set the surcharge to Mandatory.

  3. Open the Rules tab and select the desired location feature.

The surcharge will then be added automatically to reservations where a location with the selected feature has been assigned.
