Allow guests to add options and surcharges in the guest dashboard

Learn how to allow guests to add extra options, surcharges, and cancellation coverage through the guest portal before arrival.

You can allow guests to add extra options, surcharges, and cancellation coverage through the guest portal before their arrival.

Enable options and surcharges

  1. Go to Settings > Guests > Guest dashboard.

  2. Open the Settings tab.

  3. Enable 'Book options and surcharges via the guest environment'.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Next, select which options and surcharges you want to make available in the guest portal:

  1. Go to Settings > Surcharges > Options and surcharges.

  2. Click Edit next to the desired option or surcharge and open the General tab.

  3. Enable 'Guest dashboard'.

  4. Click Save changes.

Offer cancellation coverage

You can also allow guests to purchase cancellation coverage through the guest portal.

  1. Go to Settings > Guests > Guest dashboard.

  2. Open the Settings tab.

  3. Under Add-ons, enable 'Take out cancellation insurance in the Guest dashboard'.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

The settings for cancellation coverage can be managed via Settings > Account > General. For more information, see the article Setting up cancellation insurance.
