The Required consecutive reservations feature helps prevent small, difficult-to-book gaps between reservations. Depending on your type of accommodation, this can help increase occupancy.
You can choose which periods and accommodations the restriction applies to.
How do consecutive reservations work?
The restriction is configured using one or more consecutive reservation periods. For each period, you define:
The dates for which the restriction applies.
The accommodations the restriction applies to.
The minimum number of nights that must remain between two reservations.
A reservation can only be made if:
it starts immediately before or after an existing reservation; or
the remaining gap meets the configured minimum number of nights.
The restriction is applied both before and after existing reservations. In the availability calendar, arrival and departure dates that do not meet the configured rules are automatically hidden.
Days before arrival (Lead time)
For each period, you can specify the Days before arrival (Lead time).
Within this period, the restriction is automatically removed, allowing remaining availability close to the arrival date to be booked more easily.
Configure consecutive reservations
Go to Settings > Account > General > Other tab.
Under Reservation planner, enable 'Require consecutive reservations when booking online'.
Click Edit 'consecutive reservation' periods.
Click New period in the top-right corner or edit an existing period.
For each period, configure the following settings:
Date from/to: determines the arrival dates for which the restriction applies.
Minimum number of days between departure-arrival: the minimum number of nights that may remain between two reservations.
Days before arrival: the number of days before arrival when the restriction is automatically removed.
Accommodations: select the accommodations for which the period applied, or leave the setting applicable to all accommodations.
