When a new connection has been configured in the channelmanager, the correct data must first be synchronized from our booking system. Only then can accommodations be made available on connected sales channels.
This article explains how to synchronize rates and restrictions and how to open availability afterward.
Important: If you are using the new rate structure in our booking system, rates must be synchronized from the rate overview to the channelmanager. Follow the steps under Synchronize nightly rates to the channel manager (new rate structure).
Bulk change restrictions
Navigate to Settings > Channels > Channel Manager.
Click Bulk Change next to the desired channel.
Open the Copy restrictions tab.
Enter a Date from and Date to.
Select the accommodations for which you want to copy the restrictions.
Use Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple accommodations.
Click Copy restrictions. With a bulk change the minimum and maximum number of nights and arrival and departure days will be copied to the channelmanager.
Important: Are you using multiple rate plans in Booking.com, such as a weekly rate? In that case, the minimum stay must be set manually to 7 nights. This setting is not copied automatically unless a minimum stay of 7 nights has already been configured in the base settings.
Bulk change nightly rates (Old rate structure)
Navigate to Settings > Channels > Channel Manager.
Click Bulk change next to the desired channel.
Open the Copy night prices tab.
Enter a Date from and Date to.
Select the accommodations for which you want to copy the rates.
Use Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple accommodations.
Optionally increase or decrease the standard nightly rates:
By a fixed amount
By a percentage
Click Copy night prices.
Synchronize nightly rates to the channel manager (New rate structure)
Navigate to Settings > Rates > Rate Overview.
Click Actions in the top-left corner.
Select Sync to channels.
Choose the rate group from which you want to synchronize rates to the channel manager. In most cases, this will be the Standard rate group.
Enter the date range for which you want to synchronize prices.
Select the channel and accommodations for which you want to synchronize prices.
Choose how the prices should be synchronized:
Index prices: Increase or decrease rates by a percentage or fixed amount.
Adopt prices: Synchronize rates without any adjustments.
Click Sync rates to apply the changes.
Open availability in the channelmanager
After prices and restrictions have been set in the channelmanager, availability must be opened before guests can make bookings through connected sales channels.
Navigate to Channels in the top menu of our booking system.
Locate the accommodation for which you want to open availability.
Click Bulk change next to the accommodation.
Enter the desired date range.
In the Availability section, enter the maximum number of available units in the Maximum available field.
Click Save availability.
After saving, the status bar will turn green for the selected period. This indicates that availability has been successfully opened for the selected channel.

Manual changes in the channel manager
In addition to synchronizing rates and restrictions, you can also adjust them manually within the channel manager. This can be useful when you want to:
Adjust a specific rate for a single date.
Temporarily change the minimum stay requirement.
Apply a last-minute rate adjustment.
