The rental amount shown on the owner statement depends on the owner statement settings.
Confirmed reservations and cancelled reservations with cancellation fees are always included in the calculation.
You can find the settings for this under Settings > Owners > Owner statement.
Standard calculation
The following settings are configured:
Do not settle based on a specific rate group, do not calculate owner rental income based on rates instead of one-time price agreements and an optional default owner rental discount.
The rental amount is then calculated as follows:
The rate lines are added to the rental amount.
Included options and surcharges are deducted from the rental amount.
Discount lines (including accommodation discounts) are deducted from the rental amount.
The channel commission is deducted from the rental amount.
Any owner rental discount amount is deducted from the rental amount.
Calculation for channel reservations
If you enable 'Rent out based on rates instead of one-time price agreements for channel reservations', the one-time price agreement on the reservation is ignored for reservations received through a channel.
Instead, the original reservation rates are used. On the reservation, these can be recognised by the crossed-out rate lines.
The remainder of the calculation is the same as the standard calculation.
Calculation based on a rate group
If you select a rate group under 'Checkout based on the rates of a specific rate group', the owner's rental amount is calculated using the rates from that rate group.
In this case:
The rates from the selected rate group are used instead of the rates on the reservation.
Included options and surcharges are not deducted from the rental amount.
Discounts are not deducted.
Channel commission is not deducted.
Any owner rental discount amount is still applied.
Cancelled reservations
Cancelled reservations with cancellation fees are processed using the same settings as regular reservations.
Always check whether the cancellation fees have been processed correctly.
No cancellation fees were paid? Change the cancellation fee amount to €0 to correct both the reservation and the owner statement.
The owner is not entitled to the cancellation fees? Enter the cancellation fee amount in the Owner rent discount amount field on the reservation. This will correct the rental amount shown on the owner statement.
