With the CAT integration, you can manage access control directly from our booking system. This includes access via licence plate recognition, physical access cards, balances, shower or washing machine credits, and access to facilities such as a swimming pool or sauna.
The CAT module is not enabled by default. If you would like to use it, contact [email protected].
Open the CAT configuration
Go to Settings > Hardware > CAT configuration. Most of the configuration is completed when the integration is set up. You can then review or adjust the settings yourself.
Cards
A CAT card contains access-related information for a guest, such as validity dates, license plates, points and credits. This can be a physical MIFARE or barcode card, or a digital license plate card. Important terms:
Points: the number of vehicles a guest can have access with at the same time.
Max points: the number of vehicles that can still enter at that moment.
Credits: balances that can be used for things such as payments, showers or washing machines.
Note: within credits, there can also be a type called 'Points'. This is separate from the points used for vehicle access.
Settings for automatic CAT cards
Go to Settings > Hardware > CAT configuration and click Cards next to the required configuration.
Here you can configure, among other things:
whether CAT determines the start and end time of cards at midnight;
how many minutes before the scheduled check-in the CAT card becomes valid;
whether cards are created automatically for confirmed bookings;
whether the card is only created after part of the booking has been paid;
how many days before arrival the card is created;
whether multiple valid configurations are applied to one booking;
which configurations are used to create cards automatically.
Use New configuration to add a new configuration.
Other tabs in the CAT configuration
The CAT configuration also contains several tabs for additional settings.
Printers
Under Printers, you can view the linked printers and desk terminals. One terminal can be set as the default. This terminal will be selected automatically for actions such as creating or linking cards.
Locations
Under Locations, you can view the locations synchronized from CAT, including the type and direction, such as entrance or exit. If new locations have been added in CAT, you can synchronize them here.
Card types
Under Card types, you can view the card types synchronized from CAT. For each card type, you can also see settings such as the printer, number of cards and position.
Printer determines which printer is selected by default for the card type.
Number of cards determines how many cards are created by default for a booking. If you leave this field empty, the number of guests in the booking is used.
Credit types
Under Credit types, you can manage the different types of credits used in CAT. You can view existing credit types and create new ones.
Doors
Under Doors, you can manage access areas from CAT. For example, you can use these to give a guest access to a swimming pool, sauna or another restricted area.
You can also create these access areas here.
Options and surcharges
Under Options and surcharges, you can link an option or surcharge to a specific CAT function, such as adding or deducting credits or granting access for an additional vehicle.
