Setting up cancellation policies

Configure cancellation policies for accommodations, packages, seasonal pitches, and annual pitched. Automatically recalculate cancellation fees based on your configured rules.

Cancellation policies allow you to determine what percentage of the reservation value is charged when a guest cancels their booking. Our booking system automatically applies the correct cancellation fee based on the rules you have configured.

You can configure cancellation policies at different levels:

  • General (default for all accommodations)

  • Per accommodation

  • Per package

  • Per seasonal or annual pitch

Setting up a general cancellation policy

The general cancellation policy applies to all accommodations unless a specific policy has been configured for an individual accommodation.

To configure the general policy:

  1. Open the General cancellation scheme section.

  2. Enter the default cancellation rules that apply to most accommodations.

  3. Save your changes.

Setting up a cancellation policy per accommodation

If you want to use different cancellation rules for specific accommodations, you can configure them individually.

  1. Click Settings next to the accommodation.

  2. Open the Administrative tab.

  3. Enter the desired cancellation policy for the accommodation.

  4. Save your changes.

Setting up a cancellation policy for packages

You can also configure a separate cancellation policy for individual packages.

  1. Click Edit next to the package.

  2. Open the Administrative tab.

  3. Enter the desired cancellation policy.

  4. Save your changes.

Setting up a cancellation policy for seasonal and annual pitches

Seasonal and annual pitches often require different cancellation policies.

  1. Click Edit next to the desired pitch.

  2. Open the Administrative tab.

  3. Enter the desired cancellation policy.

  4. Save your changes.

Example cancellation policy (RECRON conditions)

Many recreation businesses use the RECRON cancellation conditions as the basis for their cancellation policy.

If you want to apply these conditions, you can use the following settings:
