Actions in the reservation card

Learn how to edit a reservation in our booking system. Easily adjust the reservation period, party, composition, options and surcharges, payments, tasks, and more.

Within the reservation card, you can manage and modify a reservation in various ways. The submenu at the top of the reservation provides access to all available actions.

Available actions in the reservation card

This article provides an overview of all available options within the submenu of the reservation card.

Adjusting the reservation period

Would you like to change the arrival or departure date? Click Edit at the top of the reservation and select Period.

Select a new arrival and departure date in the calendar and save your changes.

The calendar displays 6 months by default. You can expand this to 12 months using the button at the bottom of the page. A reservation cannot be changed to a period longer than 1 year.

Adjusting the party

Would you like to change the number of guests? Click Edit at the top of the reservation and select Party. Adjust the number of guests per age group and save your changes.

After saving, the rates will be updated automatically and the tourist tax will be recalculated.

Adjusting options and surcharges

To modify options and surcharges, click Edit at the top of the reservation and select Options and Surcharges.

Here you can add or remove options and surcharges, disable mandatory surcharges, and add manual options or surcharges for a specific reservation. For more information, see our article Add a manual option or surcharge to a reservation.

Checking guests in and out

Using the Check in and out button, you can register guest arrivals and departures. Guests can only be checked out after they have been checked in.

For various reports, it is important that check-in and check-out dates are registered correctly.

Managing transactions

Using the Transactions button, you can manage all financial activities related to a reservation.

Available actions:

  • Add payments

  • Register refunds

  • View chargebacks

  • Send payment requests to guests

Payment via Glory

Using the Glory button, you can process cash payments through the connected Glory cash management system.

Processing a payment via a terminal payment

If you are using a connected payment terminal, you can process a payment directly by clicking Make payment.

If you are not using a connected payment terminal, card payments must be registered manually through Transactions.

Salto integration

Using the Salto button, you can create and manage Salto key cards.

Viewing and managing tasks

Using the Tasks button, you can view all tasks linked to a reservation.

You can manage existing tasks, update tasks according to the current settings, or create a new task.

Cancelling a reservation

Would you like to cancel a reservation? Click the Cancel button and follow the steps on the screen.
