Through the Meter readings tab within a reservation, you can register the consumption of electricity, gas and water, for example.
Based on the entered meter readings, our booking system automatically calculates the consumption. This consumption can then be transferred to a linked surcharge.
View meter readings
Open the desired reservation.
Go to the Meter readings tab.
For each consumption unit, you will see the start reading, end reading and consumption.
Edit meter readings
Would you like to enter a new end reading? Click the pencil icon next to the relevant meter reading and enter the new end reading. The consumption will then be recalculated automatically.
Transfer consumption to a surcharge
After the meter readings have been updated, you can transfer the recorded consumption to the linked surcharge.
Open the reservation.
Click Edit at the top and select Options and surcharges.
Click Transfer consumption to surcharges.
Before doing this, it is important that the surcharge has been configured correctly. For more information, read our article Setting up consumption charges.
Please note: adjusting meter readings does not automatically update the surcharge. Always use the button to charge the consumption.
View and send a consumption invoice
From the reservation, you can directly view or send an energy statement. To do this, click the arrow in the top-right corner to open the drop-down menu.
You can then choose Send consumption invoice or View the consumption invoice.
