With booking on the map, guests can choose an available location directly from the map during the booking process. For example, guests can select a specific camping pitch or another preferred location.
To use booking on the map, this feature must be activated for your account. Please contact [email protected] to request activation. If you already have an interactive map in your account, follow the steps below to set it up.
Map requirements
Make sure your map meets the following requirements:
The file size must not exceed 12 MB.
Use a map in JPG or PNG format.
If you use a version for high-resolution (Retina) displays, it must have exactly twice the resolution of the original map.
Link accommodations to the map
First, select which accommodations can be used on the interactive map.
Find the map you want to use and click Edit.
Select the accommodations you want to link to the map.
Save your changes.
Place locations on the map
After linking the accommodations, you can place the corresponding locations on the map.
Click Locations next to the map you want to edit.
Select an accommodation.
Click Selecting next to the location you want to add.
Place the location in the correct position on the map.
Once a location has been linked, a trash icon appears next to Selecting. You can use this icon to remove the location from the map if necessary.
Repeat these steps for all locations that guests should be able to choose on the map.
Allow preferred locations for an accommodation
Finally, choose which accommodations allow guests to select their own preferred location.
Click Settings for the accommodation you want to edit.
Enable 'Preferred locations allowed'.
Save your changes.
Guests can only choose a preferred location for accommodations where 'Preferred locations allowed' is enabled.
