(New pricing structure) Bulk editing rates

Learn how to edit multiple rates at once using the bulk edit feature in our booking system. Quickly update rates for multiple accommodations, date ranges, and rate profiles.

With Bulk edit, you can update rates for multiple accommodations, date ranges, and rate profiles in a single action. This saves time by eliminating the need to edit each individual cell in the rate overview, making large pricing updates fast and efficient.

Opening bulk edit

You can open bulk edit in two ways

Via the action button

  1. Click the action button in the top-left corner.

  2. Select Bulk changes.

Via the rate overview

Select a date range in the date header at the top of the rate overview. The selected period is automatically filled in when the Bulk Edit window opens.

Editing rates in bulk

A dialog window opens where you can configure the following settings.

Rate group

Select the rate group to which the changes should be applied.

Accommodations

The list of accommodations is automatically filtered based on the selected rate group. Select one or more accommodations.

Date range

Select the period for which you want to update the rates. You can select a maximum period of one year. If you opened the bulk changes by selecting a date range in the rate overview, this period is filled in automatically.

Application

Choose how the rates should be updated.

  • Override: replaces the existing rates with the values you enter.

  • Index: increases or decreases the existing rates by a fixed amount or percentage.

Rate profiles and weekdays

Specify the amount or percentage that should be applied for each rate profile and each day of the week. You can also use negative values to decrease rates.

Example

Suppose you want to increase the weekly rates for accommodation Boslust 12 by 10% during October and November.

To do this:

  1. Select the appropriate rate group.

  2. Select accommodation Boslust 12.

  3. Choose the period 1 October through 30 November.

  4. Select Index and then Percentage.

  5. Enter 10 for the Week rate profile.

The system automatically increases all weekly rates within the selected period by 10%. All arrival dates for which the weekly rate applies are updated automatically.
