Via the cockpit, you can quickly check reservations in and out using the arrivals and departures overviews. This keeps your guest administration up to date.
Checking reservations in and out
Follow these steps to check your reservations in or out:
Open the Cockpit.
Go to the Arrivals or Departures tab.
Find the correct reservation. You can search by reservation number, guest name, or location.
Click 'Check-in' or 'Check-out'.
A pop-up will open where you can process the guest party.
After confirming, the reservation will be updates immediately.
Managing missed checkins and checkouts
Accurate recording of checkins and checkouts is important. Missing or incorrect entries can lead to inaccurate reports, such as tourist tax, occupancy rates or the nightregister.
From the cockpit, you can easily see which reservations still need to be processed. You can find this via the Missed checkins and Missed checkout buttons.
You can also find these overviews under Reports > Overview > Missed checkin / checkout.
From these screens, you can still manually check guests in or out.
