Within a reservation, you can adjust the applied options and surcharges. This is useful when you want to correct a price, add an extra surcharge, or disable an existing surcharge.
You can find this option by opening the reservation and clicking Edit > Options and Surcharges. Here you will see an overview of all options and surcharges linked to the reservation.
Changing surcharge rate
Would you like to adjust the price of a surcharge? You can do so by changing the amount in the 'Rate' column.
Under the 'Options and surcharges' section, this is the amount per night or per person.
Under the 'Single options and surcharges' section, you can enter the total amount.
Changing surcharge amount
For surcharges that are calculated based on quantity, you can adjust the amount.
This is useful, for example, when a guest wants to add extra products, services, or persons to the reservation.
You can change the value in the 'Amount' column by simply entering a different number or by increasing or decreasing the quantity using the plus and minus buttons.
Disabling a surcharge
Would you like to stop charging a surcharge for this reservation? You can disable it.
The surcharge will remain visible in the overview but will no longer be included in the reservation calculation and will no longer be shown to the guest.
You can do this by disabling the 'Active' checkbox next to the surcharge.
Add manual surcharges
In addition to automatically applied surcharges, you can also add a surcharge manually. This can be used for additional costs that are not configured by default, manual corrections, or additional services.
