The Places setting allows you to create and manage places and place categories. By grouping places logically, you create a clear structure for both yourself and your guests. In addition, place categories make it easier to filter accommodations in the Search & Book and the reservation planner.
You can find this setting via: Settings > Accommodation settings > Place.
Create a place or place category
Click New place in the top-right corner
Fill in the required information:
Name
Short description
Description
Disclaimer: any additional information or conditions that should be displayed for the place.
Set a parent place
You can link a place to a parent category. This allows you to create a clear hierarchy of regions and places. In our example, Zeeland is the parent category, and the remaining places are linked to it.
Make a place available online
For each place, you can specify whether it is available online. When this option is enabled, the place can be used within the booking engine. This allows guest to search more easily for accommodations in a specific place or region.
Benefit in the planning board
By using places, a place filter is also added in the planning board. This allows you to easily filter accommodations by a specific place or region, making it quicker to find the right accommodations and search more efficiently.
