In our booking system, you can define the minimum and maximum number of guests allowed for each accommodation. This allows you to control the minimum and maximum occupancy that can be booked for a reservation.
These settings can also be configured for specific periods. For example, you can require a higher minimum occupancy during the high season than during the low season.
Set minimum and maximum occupancy per period
Click Settings next to the desired accommodation.
Open the General tab and scroll to the section Min or max number of people per period.
Click Add period and enter the desired date range and minimum and maximum guest numbers.
If you use different occupancy limits for different periods, add multiple periods. Make sure the end date of one period matches the start date of the next period so there are no gaps.
Click Save changes.
Tip: If the minimum and maximum occupancy will remain the same for the coming years, you can create a single period with an end date several years in the future. This prevents you from having to review or extend the settings every year.
Accommodation properties minimum and maximum occupancy
In addition to setting minimum and maximum number of people per period, we recommend completing these accommodation properties as well. This ensures that the correct minimum and maximum occupancy is displayed in the booking engine and is transferred correctly to external channels such as Qenner and Holiday Media.
Click Settings next to the desired accommodation.
Open the General tab and scroll to the section Properties.
Enter the desired values in the Minimum number of people and Maximum number of people.
Click Save changes.
