Setting the owner rent discount amount

Set the owner rental discount as a fixed amount or percentage. Learn how to edit it on a reservation and when it is applied to the owner statement.

The Owner rent discount amount field allows you to specify which part of the rental amount will be deducted from the owner's payout.

Editing the owner rent discount amount

You can edit the owner rental discount directly on the reservation.

  1. Open the relevant reservation.

  2. Hover over the 'Owner rental discount' field.

  3. Click the pencil icon that appears.

  4. Choose whether to enter a fixed amount or a percentage.

  5. Save your changes.

How does the owner rental discount work?

This field determines which part of the rental amount will be deducted from the owner's payout.

You can choose either a fixed amount or a percentage. The selected deduction is automatically included when the owner statement is calculated.

This feature is useful when you want to adjust the owner's payout or deduct part of the rental amount, for example the commission percentage charged by a tour operator connected to your booking system.

Setting a default rental discount

You can also configure a default rental discount that will automatically be applied to every reservation.

  1. Go to Settings > Owners > Owner statements.

  2. Click Edit next to the relevant owner statement.

  3. Go to the 'Standard discount per reservation on the rental amount to be settled' field and enter the desired amount.

  4. Save your changes.
