With media albums, you can manage all your images from one central location within our booking system. A media album allows you to link photos to one or more accommodations, so you only need to manage each image once.
You can also create subalbums to organize photos into categories such as living room, bedrooms, or surroundings. These categories are displayed in the Search Engine, making it easy for guests to browse different types of images for an accommodation.
Creating a media album
Click New media album.
Enter a clear name for the album, for example Beach House.
Enable Available online to display the album on your website.
Click Save changes.
Parent albums
Would you like to place a media album under an existing album? When creating the album, select the desired parent album in the Parent album field.
A media album can contain up to three levels. Within each level, you can create an unlimited number of albums. In most cases, a two-level structure is sufficient and provides the clearest overview.
To change the order of subalbums, click Sort next to the parent album and arrange the subalbums in the desired order.
Tip: Does a media album contain many subalbums? Create a separate album, for example Preview, and add the best photos from the underlying albums.
This gives guests an immediate first impression of the accommodation without having to browse through every image. The remaining photos stay neatly organized in the subalbums.
Managing images
Open the desired media album.
Go to the Images tab.
Upload images in JPEG or PNG format.
Choose a high-quality cover image as the first image.
Drag and drop the images to arrange them in the desired order.
Click Save changes.
For the best results, use images with a 3:2 aspect ratio and give the files descriptive, SEO-friendly names, for example beach-house-domburg.jpg.
Connecting a media album
After creating a media album, you can link it to an accommodation.
Click Edit content next to the desired accommodation.
Open the Media albums tab.
Select the media album you want to connect.
Open the Images tab to verify that everything is displayed correctly.
Click Save changes.
Tip: If you replace an image or add new photos to a media album, the changes are automatically applied everywhere that album is connected. This prevents duplicate maintenance and ensures your images always remain up to date.
