By adding the correct facilities, guests can more easily filter accommodations by amenities in the Search & Book module. This improves the visibility of your accommodations and helps guests find a suitable accommodation more quickly.
Add facilities
Click Edit content for the desired accommodation.
Go to the Facilities tab.
Select the facilities that apply.
Click Save changes.
Edit facilities in bulk
It is also possible to edit facilities for multiple accommodations at once.
Click Edit facilities in bulk.
Select the accommodations you want to edit.
Select the facilities you want to add or remove.
Under Edit, choose whether you want to add or remove the selected facilities.
Click Save changes.
Only add facilities that are truly distinctive. A list of 5 to 10 relevant amenities is clearer than a long list of less important features.
For example:
Wi-Fi Parking
Air conditioning Swimming pool
Sauna Jacuzzi/hot tub
Private sanitary facilities Wheelchair accessible
Waterfront Close to the beach
View (sea, lake or nature) Pets allowed/not allowed
Tip: Avoid adding less relevant amenities, such as a kettle or toaster. If desired, you can include these as custom facilities.
Custom facilities
Is the facility you need not available in the standard list? Then you can add a custom facility. This allows you to display additional accommodation features on the accommodation page.
Click Edit content for the desired accommodation.
Go to the Facilities tab.
At the bottom of the page, add the additional amenities in the Custom facilities field.
Important: Custom facilities are not available as filters in the Search & Book module. They are only displayed on the accommodation page and cannot be used by guests to filter accommodations.
Bedrooms, beds and bathrooms
In addition to the standard and custom facilities, you can also display the number of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms on the accommodation page. Learn how to configure these settings in the article Configure bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for the search engine module.
Accommodation area
The accommodation area can also be displayed on the accommodation page when it has been configured for the accommodation.
Click Settings for the relevant accommodation.
At the bottom of the General tab, enter the number of square meters in the Surface accommodation field.
After saving the changes, the accommodation area will automatically be displayed on the accommodation page.
Energy label
Does the accommodation have an energy label? If so, you can also display it on the accommodation page.
Click Edit content for the relevant accommodation.
Go to the Other tab.
Enable the Show in the "Search & Book module" option.
Select the appropriate energy label.
