Would you like to charge a different nightly rate at the weekend than on weekdays? You can set a standard nightly rate and a different rate for weekend nights within the same rate. This article continues the explanation of creating rates. We recommend reading the article Create rates before continuing.
Set up a length of stay for weekend nights
Before you can set a different weekend rate, you need to create a corresponding length of stay. This determines which nights are calculated as weekend nights. For more information, see the knowledge base article Set up lengths of stay.
Set a nightly rate with a different weekend rate
Open the rate you created and go to the Price specifications tab.
Click Add period.
Select the required rate period or choose a custom period.
Under the calculation settings, select 'Price per x number of nights'.
Click Add rule and select the length of stay for a regular night. Enter the required nightly rate.
Click Add rule again and select the length of stay for a weekend night. Enter the different weekend rate.
Save your changes.
Add additional periods in the same way if you use different weekday and weekend rates throughout the year.
Example with a different weekend rate
For example, you can set a slightly higher nightly rate for weekends than for weekdays:
Period | Weekday per night | Weekend per night |
Early season 2027 | €65.00 | €72.50 |
High season 2027 | €85.00 | €95.00 |
Late season 2027 | €65.00 | €72.50 |
In this example, the different weekend rate is automatically applied to weekend nights. The standard nightly rate applies to all other nights.
