A security deposit allows you to request a deposit from guests before their stay. You can choose which accommodations the deposit applies to, the amount to be charged, and the period during which it is valid.
Set up a deposit
Click New security deposit in the top-right corner.
Under the General tab, enter the description, amount, and validity period of the security deposit.
Under the Accommodations tab, select the accommodations for which the security deposit should be charged.
Under the Administrative tab, select the appropriate VAT profile and general ledger account.
Save the deposit.
The security deposit will now automatically be added to bookings that fall within the configured validity period.
