Connect an automatic rate group to Qenner from the rate overview

Create an automatic rate group within the new rate structure and connect it to Qenner to automatically derive rates from an existing rate group.

Do you work with Qenner and want to use different rates for a specific sales channel than your standard rates? With an automatic rate group, rates are automatically derived from another rate group. This means you only need to make rate changes in one place.

Important: If no rate group is connected to a channel, no rates will be sent to that channel. If you want to send your standard rates to Qenner, you must connect the standard rate group.

Note: The steps in this article only apply if you are using the new rate structure in our booking system. If you are using the old rate structure, please refer to the articles Connect a manual rate group to Qenner or Connect an automatic rate group to Qenner.

Create a manual rate group

  1. Click New rate group in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter a description for the rate group. We recommend using the name of the connected channel, such as Allyourz or Airbnb.

  3. Select whether discounts may be applied within this rate group.

    • Important: Discounts can only be sent to Qenner if they are valid for the selected rate group. Packages cannot be sent to Qenner.

  4. Enable the option Automatically transfer rates from another rate group.

  5. Select the rate group from which the rates should be transferred; in most cases this will be the Standard rate group.

    • Important: Additional rates for specific age groups cannot be transferred to Qenner.

  6. Optionally increase or decrease the rates by a percentage.

  7. Set the rate group to Active.

  8. Open the Accommodations tab and select the accommodations for which you want to use this rate group.

  9. Click Save changes to create the rate group.

The newly created rate group will be available via Settings > Prices > Rate overview under the name and accommodations you assigned to it. Rates within an automatically derived rate group cannot be edited directly in the rate overview. Any changes made to the standard rate group will automatically be applied to the derived rate group.

Connect the rate group to Qenner

  1. Click Connect next to the desired channel.

  2. Select the rate group you created in the Rate group field.

  3. Click Save changes to pass on the rates.

Important: Newly connected or updated rates will not appear on the sales channel immediately. It may take up to 3 hours for new rates to become visible. Qenner synchronizes rates several number of times per day.
