Configure and use search filters in the booking engine

Search filters in the search engine help guests quickly find accommodation that matches their preferences. By default, guests can search by their stay dates and the number of guests. You can also offer additional search filters for accommodation type, location, facilities, number of bedrooms, and more.

The available filters depend on the accommodation information configured in our booking system. For example, by assigning accommodations to accommodation categories and adding facilities, you give guests more options to refine their search results.

Accommodation categories allow guests to filter by different types of accommodation, such as holiday homes, chalets, apartments, or camping pitches.

By organizing your accommodations into clear categories, guests can quickly select the type of accommodation they are looking for. For more information about setting up accommodation categories, see Accommodation categories.

Do you offer accommodations in multiple locations? You can allow guests to search and filter by country, region, town, city, park, or another location. To make this possible, create places and, if necessary, place categories in our booking system. Guests can then narrow down their search results to their preferred destination or location. Packages allow you to offer specific stay periods or special offers. This is useful when you want to highlight a particular stay or package to your guests.

Facilities help guests find accommodation that meets their specific preferences. By adding facilities to your accommodations, guests can use them to further refine their search results. For more information about configuring facilities, see Facilities.

Guests can also search for accommodations based on the number of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms. To use these search filters, the rooms and beds for each accommodation must be configured correctly.
