Add a new accommodation

Add a new accommodation to our booking system. Use this checklist to configure all required settings step by step.

Adding a new accommodation involves several steps. This article explains where to find each setting. For detailed instructions, follow the links to the relevant knowledge base articles.

1. Create the accommodation

  1. Click New accommodation in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter the basic information, such as the accommodation name, accommodation category, and available period.

Leave 'Online available' disabled until the accommodation has been fully configured.

2. Add content

  1. Click Edit content next to the new accommodation.

  2. Enter all relevant information, including titles, descriptions, images, and facilities.

This information is displayed to guests in the Search & Book. For more information, see our Accommodation setup article.

3. Create locations

To make an accommodation bookable, it must be linked to one or more locations.

  1. Click New location in the top-right corner.

Make sure to link the location to your new accommodation. For more information, see our Create a location article.

4. Configure the accommodation

Open Settings for the accommodation and review the accommodation settings, including: minimum and maximum number of nights or persons, arrival and departure days, check-in and check-out times.

5. Configure rates

Go to Settings > Prices and create rates for the accommodation or copy them from an existing accommodation. For more information, see our section on creating rates.

6. Link options and surcharges

  1. Link the required surcharges to the accommodation or create new ones if needed.

7. Add translations

Make sure all texts have been translated for the languages you use. This includes accommodation information, rates, options and surcharges, travel party information, discounts, and other guest-facing content.

8. Check integrations

Do you use hardware integrations, location attributes, or a Mailchimp integration? If so, make sure the new accommodation has also been added to these integrations.

9. Make the accommodation available online

Once all settings have been configured and the rates have been added, enable Online available for the accommodation so guests can start booking it.
