Managing the service charges overview

View, filter, edit, and manage all service charges within the service charges overview. Learn how to add one-time service charges and modify or remove existing charges.

In the Service charges overview, you can find all service charges linked to owner statements.

This overview includes both:

  • Recurring service charges

  • One-time service charges

This gives you a central place to view all costs that are charged to owners.

Filtering the service charges overview

If you have registered many service charges, you can use various filters to quickly find the information you need.

You can filter by:

  • Description, accommodation, owner statement, year, period within the selected year.

These filters make it easy to find specific service charges and keep the overview organized.

Creating a one-time service charge

In addition to recurring service charges, you can also create one-time service charges.

This is useful when unexpected costs have been incurred, such as a plumber, maintenance company, or other incidental expenses that need to be charged to the owner.

Follow these steps to create a one-time service charge:

  1. Click Create service charges in the top-right corner.

  2. Select the owner statement to which the service charge should be applied.

  3. Choose the date of the expense, enter a description, and optionally add a reference code.

  4. Enter the amount, including VAT or excluding VAT, and save the service charge.

The service charge will then be added to the selected owner statement.

Editing or deleting service charges

Each service charge has two available actions:

  • Edit: Click the pencil icon to modify the service charge details. For example, you can change the description, date, or amount.

  • Delete: Click the trash can icon to remove the service charge. This only removes the specific service charge entry; recurring service charges are not completely removed from the recurring service charge settings.
