Announcements allow you to inform guests during the booking process about important information that applies to their selected stay period. For example, you can notify guests about an event, promotion, maintenance or expected crowds.
The announcement is automatically displayed in the booking engine when the selected stay period falls within the dates you have set.
Set up an announcement
Click New announcement.
Create your announcement and enter the desired start and end dates.
Choose where the announcement should be displayed:
Show in accommodation overview;
Show on accommodation detail page;
or both.
Select whether the announcement applies to all accommodations or only specific accommodations.
Save the announcement.
The announcement will automatically be displayed when a guest selects a stay period that falls within the specified dates.
Show an announcement for specific accommodations
If an announcement is only relevant to certain accommodations, link it only to those accommodations. This ensures that guests only see the message when it is relevant to their search.
This is useful, for example, when maintenance, an event or a temporary situation only affects some of your accommodations.
